According to an article posted on The Wrap, actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw is rumored to be joining the cast of director Rian Johnson’s Star Wars Episode VIII.
Mbatha-Raw will soon be seen opposite Will Smith in “Concussion” and Matthew McConaughey in “The Free State of Jones.” She has been in high demand following breakout turns in “Belle” and “Beyond the Lights,” and is widely expected to be joining the cast of “Star Wars: Episode VIII.” The English actress also plays Plumette in Disney’s upcoming live-action “Beauty and the Beast,” and she has wrapped the Keanu Reeves-led indie movie “The Whole Truth.”
